First of all we need to go over the major distinction between these two body styles. A Class A motorhome is a larger motorhome and features a cockpit that is directly attached to the motorhomes living area. The Class A motorhome resembles a bus and features a larger living area. A Class C motorhome features a cockpit that is separated from the living area and usually has a sleeping area located above the cockpit. The Class C motorhome has a smaller body type than the Class A motorhome.

The Benefits of a Class A Motorhome
The most obvious benefit of the Class A motorhome is something it offers that no other RV body type can. The Class A motorhome allows for access to the living space while on the road. The Class A motorhome truly is the best RV to travel in, as you have access to living areas, the washroom, kitchen and more while on the road. This makes for unparalleled comfort when travelling from destination to destination.
Another benefit of the Class A motorhome is the amount of living space it offers, its wide frame makes for large living areas. This is perfect when travelling with a larger family as there is plenty of room for everyone. Some Class A motorhomes even offer slideouts which means you can have even more living space once you have reached your destination.
The Benefits of a Class C Motorhome
The biggest benefit of the Class C motorhome is that it offers many of the same amenities that a Class A offers just in a more compact and affordable package. Class C motorhomes are generally more affordable than their Class A counterpart and because they are a smaller model they can offer better fuel economy. Another benefit of the Class C motorhomes smaller size is that it makes it much easier to navigate and it can fit down roads that are too narrow for a Class A motorhome.
With the Class C motorhome you do not get as much living space as you would with most Class A motorhomes but to make up for this the Class C body type offers a living area the Class A does not. Above the cabin of in the majority of Class C motorhomes is an additional sleeping area, this means many Class C models can sleep up to 10 people.
