We are so proud to support The Alex, and were there to capture the unveiling of their new Community Health Bus in January. We’ve been maintaining their fleet of 3 health buses, but this is the first new one we’ve helped build. Everyone has been working hard on it for months, and it’s ready to hit the road.
This medical clinic on wheels has two exam rooms and a waiting area, and is staffed with a doctor, nurse practitioner and social worker. It offers mobile health care for vulnerable youth and homeless adults, stopping at several high schools, the Drop-In Centre, YWCA, the Dream Centre and Tsuut’ina Nation.
