Many components come together to create your interior electrical system, with each RV having two separate types of systems: 12-volt DC and 120-volt AC. Generally, most of the appliances and outlets in the interior of your RV are run on AC at 20, 30, and 50 AMP outputs. The 12-volt DC system is powering the electrical components of the engine and battery, as well as most appliances. Without your electrical system functioning properly, you are likely to lose power to your appliances and let’s face it, your appliances are what keep you comfortable while out on the road.
