Hello I’m Craig with Bucars RV Centre.
Today we’re going to talk about levelling your RV at the campsite. Once we get our
unit on site and we’re at a position we where we like it for our site, it’s time
to check and see what we need to do to level.
I like to take my level, simply place it on the floor inside the unit and look in, side to side to see which side of the unit has to be risen. With that, we’re going to be using links levelling blocks. The links levellers simply stack together creating a nice little ramp for our tires to be driven
up on to. With that, we’re now ready to pull forward, you guys with our tow vehicle bringing the trailer up on the blocks then we’ll check again to ensure that we’re within level. If need be, we can certainly drive back off add more blocking to it to get us to the desired level for side to side.
So once we’ve got our trailer level, uncoupled stabilizing jacks are down, everything supported there’s another product we have it’s called the BALX chocks. These go in and compress between our tires eliminating forward and back rocking motion while you’re in your trailer and we just simply slide these in between our tire and using the wrench provided, we’re just going to tighten them up, thus locking our tires in place. Now your trailer won’t be going anywhere for the duration of your camping trip.
