Hello I’m Craig with Bucars RV Center. I’d like to talk to you today about hooking up multiple batteries to our trailers. We’re going to start with the 12-volt we also have six volts, with your 12 volts you want to put them to them parallel. To do that we’ll tie our positively leads together, as well as our negative leads and we’ll just bring in our trader cables. The biggest mistake I see most people do is they’ll tie their cables to a one battery, in which case to get the best optimum power from your batteries and the cycle and the best you want to go the positive on one battery and then the negative on the opposite battery. This way we’ll draw power equally through both batteries for cycling charging and running the batteries on your trailer. Pretty simple, pretty straightforward. For our six volts the difference with them we’re going to put them into a series rather than parallel, and that will give us a double the battery output given us 12 volts since we have two sixes. Then again our trailer we’d run over and the two remaining terminals will get our negative and positive. That’s pretty much getting your batteries hooked up ready to go.
