5th annual Canadian RVing and Camping Week
Canadian Camping Week is Tuesday, May 21 to Sunday, May 26, this year. Created by Go RVing Canada and the Canadian Camping and RV Council to encourage Canadians to explore the great outdoors and embrace the RVing and Camping Lifestyle. Participating campgrounds across Canada offer discounted rates for reservations.

7th Annual RV Learning Weekend
The Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association of Alberta is once again hosting their Annual RV Learning Weekend at Ol’ MacDonalds Resort in Stettler, Alberta. Whether you’re an avid RVer or a first timer, this weekend will benefit everyone. They offer great seminars to increase your RVing knowledge. It is a fun weekend for the whole family, held this year on May 24th – 26th, so head over to their website to reserve your spot.

While a good selection of Alberta Parks campgrounds remain open through the winter, many of the campgrounds that close seasonally begin to open again through the month of May. The popular Sylvan Lake campground, Jarvis Bay, is back open on May 9th, and the campground at Sibbald Lake Provincial Recreation Area opens on May 3rd.
